Chocolate Pie


°1 1/2 cups sugar °1/4 teaspoon salt °2 cups milk °1 teaspoon vanilla °1/2 cup cocoa °1/2 cup all-purpose flour °3 egg yolks °1 1/2 cups sugar °1/4 teaspoon salt °2 cups milk

In a saucepan over medium/high heat, combine the cocoa, flour, beaten egg yolk, sugar, and salt, then add the milk while stirring constantly. Cook until the sauce has thickened, then beat until smooth. Cream pies take a long time to thicken, so keep stirring. 10-15 minutes Simply keep swirling until it thickens. Pour into a pie crust that has already been baked. I’m going to put it in the fridge to chill down. To decorate the meringue, use remaining egg white or whip cream. Enjoy!
